‘When I Walk in Your Shoes’ is an exhibition curated by Amy Winehouse’s tattoo artist and friend Henry Hate. Running from the 25th-30th September at the London Westbank Gallery, the show is named after the first verse of Amy Winehouse’s song ‘Help Yourself.’ The art catalogue will feature quotes of walking in someone else’s shoes from the exhibiting artists who all contributed three pieces including one based on her music. All proceeds raised from the sale will be go to The Amy Winehouse Foundation.

Harrods Shoe Heaven store has just opened in replacement of the Pet Kingdom on the 5th floor. In celebration of the opening, Harrods has launched a special Silver Linings collection which is a made up of 37 iconic shoes recreated in silver, including designs from Gucci to Manolo Blahnik. The store is the largest shoe store in the world which is decorated thickly in carpet and wall to wall marble, this is a true luxury shoe heaven shopping experience.
Dolce & Gabbana’s collection took inspiration from the Spanish in Sicily between the 15th and 17th century as their starting point. Matador braided suits, flamenco skirts and head scarves worn over slick backed hair to finish off the Spanish inspired looks. The colour palette was centered around black, white and red with lots of lace and embroidered flowers. The end finale look was a range of high waisted red embroidered shorts with crisp white shirts.
This catwalk collection has lots of images of sweet treats such as ice cream, strawberries and cake, in the form sequins and repeat prints. Japanese images are also featured regularly, such as sushi and japanese dolls. With knee high leather stripy coloured boots to finish off the very colourful collection.

A very strong 70’s hippie vibe to this collection with tie dyed inspired dresses and lots of crocheting and embroidered pieces. Added with elements of suede jackets and tan boots, this was a trip back to the future as Fleetwood Mac played. Even Miss Naomi Campbell took a twirl on the catwalk for the end look.
