Sebastian Horsley was THE self proclaimed Soho dandy. He was known for his scarlet suits, stovepipe hats, addiction to drugs and his brief spell as a prostitute, as well as his creative outlets. When he died in 2010, hundreds of people dressed in cravats, trilbies and diaphanous robes, paraded the streets of Soho behind his horse drawn hearse. 3 years on from his death, The Outsiders Gallery in Greek Street will open ‘Sebastian Horsley: The Whoresley Show’, an exhibition featuring photographs of himself and his work, allowing people to appreciate the late dandy’s creative achievements as a painter, writer and performance artist.
Sebastian Horsley: The Whoresley Show opens on the 9th of August until the 14th of September
