The Victoria & Albert Museum has announced that its summer fashion exhibition for 2015 will be Shoes: Pleasure and Pain. The show will display more than 200 pairs of historic and contemporary shoes from around the world being put on display, many for the first time.
Shoes worn by or associated with stars including Marilyn Monroe, Sarah Jessica Parker and Daphne Guinness will be shown alongside the ballet slippers from The Red Shoes and shoes worn by Queen Victoria among others.
The show will open on June 13 next year and runs until January 31, 2016.
