Fashion Space Gallery, located at London College of Fashion is pleased to announce its latest exhibition Don’t Stop Now: Fashion Photography Next. A group exhibition curated by Magdalene Keaney that will explore ideas and themes found in contemporary image-making and photography.

Presented in two parts, part 1 will take on the themes of Materiality and Play, drawing attention to a new generation of photographers returning to analogue processes and technology and employing irony and humour to highlight possible tensions between ‘virtual’ and ‘real’.

Part 2 will focus on two of the most prevalent approaches in contemporary fashion photography – Artifice and Authenticity. Keeping central to the idea of contrast between the two positions, it simultaneously acknowledges that divisions of ‘fantasy’ and ‘fact’ are often not simplistic or clear-cut in contemporary practice.
