Super heroes have always been some what of style icons. And now they’ve because muses! Lauren Moshi has been enlisted by Warner Bros to create a superhero-themed clothing collection incorporating some of its most famous characters. The collaboration will take the form of character-specific capsule collections, including Wonder Woman and Super-man! Available in the US at the end of August we will have to go online to get a slice of super style!
The Donatella Versace movie is on it’s way! Premiering in the US in October (we will have to wait a little longer). Gina Gershon will play the fashionista and we’re hoping some of Donatella’s famous friends will be making cameos too! Not to mention the wardrobe, hair and make-up and settings! Yeah you could say we’re looking forward to it!
SHARA HAYZ (www.sharahayz.com) and ROB ELFORD (www.robelford.co.uk ) have joined forces to create a fabulously spangly fashion film shot in Victor Wynd’s ‘little shop of horrors’ on Mare St. Their concept revolves around inter-dimensional time travel and the exploration of obscurities. In this other-worldly ‘Victorian curiosity’ shop, the characters are drawn to mystical rings and amulets scattered there.
On the 7th of July an opening 3D film preview will be held at ‘The Little shop of Horrors’, E8 4PR
Followed with a photo and product exhibition to be held across the road at 1 Vyner St Gallery, E2 9DG
The third part of the This is England series started last night and is set around Christmas of 1988. Expect high-top fades, Harrington jackets and lashes of the Smiths from this latest three-parter – a sequel,This Is England ’90, has already been confirmed for 2012 – plus more gut-wrenching twists.
