When Piers Atkinson decided to break away from the Headonism show at LFW this year we’ve have all been waiting to find out who will fill his boots. Well today we found out that Keely Hunter will be doing just that! Hunter will showcase her architectural designs at Somerset House in the Designer Showrooms and on Friday 13th September. This visor came from her S/S 13 collection so we’re sure that S/S 14 will not disappoint!
Lichting supported by G-Star RAW brings together the best of Holland’s seven fashion academies and the best academy graduates of one year in one central catwalk show. It is one of the highest principled fashion events in the Netherlands and this is the 6th year it has been running for. The winner this year was the very talented Henriette Tilanus, whose collection experimented with textiles, embroidered plastics, hand painted checks and dots, and bleached striped denim. Her garments were inspired but a writer from the twenties but they were modern and unique.
Like we said on Friday MaryMe-JimmyPaul were helping to kick off Amsterdam Fashion Week with their collection closing the first day of shows. Each look was more colourful than the next and outfits included bright prints, colourful hot-pants, pastel wigs and fur and feather jackets. The audience were also encouraged to get interactive and vote for their favourite look of the show which was reveled at the end of the show. From the death of a designers career to the death of a designer. Today’s posts seem to be a bit depressing and about an end of an era. Well we may as well keep with the theme but let’s cheer it up a bit. An exhibition dedicated to the life and career of Amy Winehouse is due to make its début in July to celebrate what would have been the singers 30th birthday. The Jewish museum in Camden could not be a better fitting for the particular exhibition and we wish it all the best of luck. The exhibition will run from the 3rd July to 15th September and we recommend you all check it out. We miss you Amy and your rockabilly style ❤

Sorapol’s SS12 collection cased an ungodly stir last thursday when the fashion glitterarti descended on St Georges Church. Hosted by Daniel Lismore, an array of fashionistas and London scenesters‚ from throughout the decades turned out to show their support for Sorapol Chawaphatankul’s debut collection. Style by the effervescent David Motta the show did not fail to live up to its wild expectations.
