Today marks the start of Cannes Film Festival 2014! Over the years, the festival aims to raise awareness of films which will contribute to the cinema industry. Aside from cinema, Cannes is famous for it’s show stopping red carpet. Over the years it has been graced by some gorgeous garments from a diversity of international actors, singers and models.
Starting from May 15th, ten days of burlesque will begin in the capital. The global cast are being let loose at a number of London Venues and their kinky performances include collaborations with other burlesque dancers. The festival has previously been called, “the greatest showcase of international burlesque talent on earth.”
LYN is a crochet/knitwear brand by Jocelyn Picard. Originally from Quebec, LYN is now based in London. Using a collaboration of traditional and contemporary techniques, LYN’s collections seek to escape the boundaries of crochet.
Our lovely Kristian Steinberg was DASH Magazine’s label of the day on Saturday and we aren’t surprised one bit! Both he and his collection are amazing!

So like we mentioned, we went to see Ms Mr in Brighton last night in a quaint little place called The Haunt (if you haven’t listened to them, you should. ‘Cause they’re good. Obvs)
The headline act were supported by one of our favourite boys, Freddie Dickson, who’s EP is out NOW. And you’d be silly not to download it.
