Because today the only thing you”ll be needing in London is an umbrella!
Bad Gal RiRi’s outfits have always been turning heads but now she’s putting her stamp on the commoner’s wardrobe with the launch of her own collection. All we know at the moment is the filling of trademark documents for her surname, Fenty, for categories including apparel, lingerie, cosmetics and swimwear.
All Hail Queen RiRi. We can’t wait to see what she comes out with!
“In front of the camera, she makes you feel like she is the only girl in the world,” quoted Balmain’s creative director Oliver Rousteing.
The new campaign was shot in New York by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, and styled by Rihanna’s personal stylist Mel Ottenberg. The star has previously modeled for Armani Jeans and make-up giant Mac.
Adam Selman, Rihanna’s costume designer and helping hand for Rihanna at River Island, will debut his first collection during New York Fashion Week this September. The collection has been described as having a heavy swimwear component but is ultimately ‘wearable’ (unlike some of the outfits we’ve seen RihRih in!).
It’s currently couture fashion week and it was the stars in the audience of the Chanel show that have got everyone talking!! Rihanna went braless in a ankle length white cardigan and draped herself in pearls. While Kristen Steward wore a vintage white tweed jacket and gave it a hard edge with black hot pants and leather gloves. In the words of Coco Chanel “Simplicity is the keynote of all true elegance”, take note ladies!
Claire Barrow is an artist who we at BLOW Presents love, known for her unique array of painted leather jackets, shoes and bags. They have already been seen on the likes of Jessie J and Rihanna and some of Claire Barrow’s handy work is also featured in one of our designers collections, Olivia Deane.
